DIYs With Dried Flowers
Clacei loves nature and if you received dried flowers or herbs in your package, we'd like to suggest a few DIYs you may wish to practice at home.
Beauty
- Foot Bath Soak
- Combine dried petals and buds to bath salts for an aesthetic look
- Add floral bath salts to warm water and let feet soak for desired time. Proceed to your routine pedicure treatment.
- Steam
- Add floral petals to your favorite aromatherapy or steam facials for an extra hydrating boost.
Decor
- Potpourri Add the rose to your already made potpourri for added color or make a lovely version of your own:
- Place dried rose petals in a bowl with dried citrus skin (orange or grapefruit) and 1/2 cup of dried lavender
- 10 drops of Essential Oil (choose from 1): Rose, Lavender, Grapefruit, Lemon or Honeysuckle, etc.
- Lightly sprinkle with oil and gently combine ingredients together
- Add the mixture to sealable containers then allow to blend naturally for 2-3 days.
- Decorate your desired vessel with the potpourri
Aromatherapy
- Rose or Lavender oil: In a glass container, use your favorite carrier oil like jojoba, avocado or almond. Do not add water - it will mold.
- Add dried flowers to oil then cover and store in the sunlight. Leave for a few weeks.
- Apply to skin, keep away from eyes.
- Scented satchel:
- Scented satchels are a lovely decorative and fragrant addition for drawers and air vents. In a satchel, combine dried flowers and petals with lavender, lemon, soap, or scented oils.
- Place satchel in the corner of a drawer (shirts or socks) and your floor vent.
